05-08-2024 Poetic Spell Writing for Abundance

This workshop is for poets who wish to write spells, spellcasters who wish to write poetry, and everyone in between. Jezmina will be focusing on abundance in its many forms, and how to create and maintain a magical writing practice, and will teach both magical and artistic techniques for spell writing with the intention of calling in lushness, prosperity, comfort, and wellbeing. Art and spiritual expression often overlap and empower each other, and students will use both together as a channel for manifestation, and writing their way into feeling deserving of blessings. There will be time dedicated to learning the craft of spell casting, as well as time to draft poetic spells for abundance with prompts, guidance, and optional feedback. By the end of the workshop, students will have a framework for writing spells for abundance, or any topic one can imagine, through a poetic lens. At the end of the class, students will be guided through a short group abundance spell spoken aloud to call in good luck for all.

The class will be a lecture with writing prompts and writing time interspersed throughout, a break halfway through, time for questions and feedback, and a short guided meditation at the end. Join us on May 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM PDT. 

In preparation for the workshop, please gather the following items:

• Pen and paper or a journal
• Any ritual tools you may need to set your container (i.e. candles, a bowl of water and salt, cleansing herbs, etc.)
• Snacks and drinks for nourishment!
