I'm big on good chocolate, loose leaf tea and small, cozy coffee shops where i can read, write and sketch. Chocolatea is all of those things!
This cafe is a hidden gem in Charles Village that everyone should wonder into every once in a while. They have a great selection of (loose leaf) tea, coffee drinks and a full hot chocolate menu. There are delicious truffles and a variety of small dishes and baked goods as well.
The cafe is small and cozy and extends into a sitting are outside. They do not carry vegan/ gluten free items but make up for it with dessert and drink options. Make sure you try the chocolate dumplings.

After the busy winter season I decided to start seeing a professional to help me balance my life- the heavy workload, relationships and the ups and downs that come with every growth. I didn't know if i was going to get acupuncture, massage or Reiki. After some research I settled on Reiki. I asked around and looked at some local places and finally found a woman that I had a good feeling about.
Andrea Wenger (http://www.andreawenger.com/) is a lovely, soft spoken, gentle woman who has been working with me for a few months now. Her profile says: "As a holistic healing and wellness practitioner, I am passionate about supporting my clients in breaking free from the should, struggle and old patterns that aren't serving them anymore. I invite you to step outside the numbing social norms and wake up, nourish yourself from the inside out, embody your authentic self, and explode past the "rules" to a life of passion, vibrancy and joy!"
Along with being certified as a Reiki master, Andrea uses sound healing and meditation in her practice. Be on the lookout for group meditation sessions around town, the next one on April 23rd at Breathe Books in Hampden.
