In this class we will cover basic tools and resources for magical self care that help build a healthy foundation for your energetic work, including purification, protection, plants and flower essences, and grounding.
Queer Figure Drawing!

Figure drawing is the practice of drawing nude, semi nude or costumed models. It is wonderful practice for all artists at any level! This is a traditional figure drawing session in most ways except that it is aimed at queer artists and models--in the belief that queer bodies, like all bodies, are beautiful and deserve visibility and artistic appreciation in a safe environment. This is a body-positive space meaning we welcome models of all genders, body types, abilities and racial/ethnic backgrounds. No instruction will be given, you are welcome to stay as long as you'd like during the session.
Intuitive Tarot Series (3 week series)

You can read many excellent books on the tarot and learn systems of understanding their universal language, but nothing can replace your personal relationship to the cards.
This series will cover a general overview of the elemental suits of the tarot, the major arcana, and tarot spreads as well as the basic magical skills of purification, grounding, casting a circle, and calling the elements to enrich and ground your tarot practice. Learning the cards is a study that could take a lifetime and in these short workshops you will learn key words and overarching themes to help you begin to build your personal relationship with the cards. Although we won't be covering all of the individual cards and their in depth meanings you will get to learn and practice intuitive ways of approaching the deck.
Swept Away: Broom-making, witch lore & herbal cleansing practices

We know that witches fly on broomsticks, but beyond that image, what is the significance of brooms, and cleaning in folk culture the world over? In this class we will explore the magic and medicine of broom lore and handcraft with Broom-Maker Bruja Bethany Ridenour and the messy-by-nature folk herbalist Milla Prince. Participants will get to make their own hand-brooms, handy for dusting, ritual cleaning, and tidying up all corners of our hearths and homes. We discuss craft magic, cleaning rituals like smoke, water and steam medicine, broom lore, and learn practical ways to cleanse our spaces both physically and spiritually. Participants will get to leave with their own handmade broom, a handout and a cleansing herbal bundle."
