After a very busy December filled with travel and craft shows, I came down with a nasty cold. Fever, stuffy nose and lack of desire to move were some of the things I experienced for a week before New Years. And then I got a surprise. I would imagine this is the kind of thing people do for Valentine’s day, but it was great as a “get better” present as well.
I was put in a mustard bath for twenty minutes, which heated my body til my cheeks were rosy. In traditional medicine, mustard is known for its stimulating, cleansing and rejuvenating qualities. The warmth of mustard gently opens pores and assists in the elimination of impurities. The essential oils in the mix soothed my tense muscles and opened up my nasal passages. It was amazing! Dr Singha's Mustard Bath is a well known brand. Try this the next time you’re sick.
